While working with Ripplemakers, I had the opportunity to design graphics for Google. I collaborated with producers to create logo designs, illustrations that were later transformed into motion graphics, and other marketing collateral as the team’s sole graphic designer. This experience allowed me to craft visuals that aligned with Google’s well established global brand - which was a challenge in itself to contribute assets that feel “fresh” when so much has already been explored. I also learned how to collaborate with videographers and animators who, while working in adjacent fields, can function differently from graphic designers.

In 2020, as the pandemic shifted workplaces to remote settings, Google faced the challenge of fostering connection among employees. They turned to their existing Culture Club but needed a logo that represented their global corporate offices. Our solution: a design inspired by iconic landmarks from each major location, creating a unifying visual identity. We also created the images below as swag options.
