As a freelance graphic designer for real-estate agent Wesley Hansard in partnership with Keller Williams Luxury, I created a bespoke marketing brochure for a high-end property tailored to horse enthusiasts. The brochure highlighted the property’s unique equestrian features, combining elegant design with a focus on luxury and functionality. I worked closely with the real estate team to ensure the brochure aligned with the brand’s upscale image while appealing to a niche audience.
In addition, I designed a visually compelling image for their newsletter, maintaining consistency with the luxury brand's aesthetic and ensuring it resonated with prospective buyers. This is reflected partly through font selection. Frank Ruhl Libre is a lovely serifed font, and great for headers, which gave this brochure a classic feel to connect to the equestrian industry. This font paired with Open Sans, an easy to read and modern sans-serif font, creates an easy and efficient experience for the prospective buyers.
We decided on an image heavy brochure, that would give buyers a great window into the home. At the end of the day, it is often better to show a buyer the features of a home when possible, rather than just listing them out in writing. It allows the buyer space to visualize themselves (and their animals) within the property.
We created several dynamic layouts to add visual interest. What will sell this particular property are the amenities for the horses. Those who will live here will likely prioritize their equine friends more than themselves, leading us to decide to go lighter on in home imagery.
The last page of the brochure is laden with imagery of the horse amenities. We wanted the last section to focus on these offerings with the intention that the consumer will walk away with these at the forefront of their minds.
