Unveiling a uniquely personal touch!
As a graphic designer, I couldn't resist the opportunity to infuse my wedding with creativity. Proudly featuring my very own wedding branding project – a shamelessly personal endeavor! From crafting a bespoke logo to curating a cohesive visual identity, every detail reflected our love story. This project encapsulates my passion for design, showcasing how I translated personal narratives into a harmonious blend of visuals. An ode to creativity beyond professional realms, because who says design can't be personal and professional? Welcome to a glimpse of my heart and art intertwined, a testament to the joy of design in every aspect of life.
INSPIRATION: Celebrating nature's hues, my wedding branding found its beginning in the florals I chose for my bouquet. Each bloom's vivid tones and delicate intricacies sparked a design journey.
ILLUSTRATION: Crafted with personal touches, our wedding invitation became a canvas of shared memories. I chose to use Sacramento as the primary font because it has a blend of elegance and ease; which is perfect for a semi-formal event. I used Nunito Light for copy.
STATIONARY: This is a full look at our wedding stationary. The tag line for our event was "differences are beautiful" to emphasize the joining of two cultures into one family in both Amharic and English.
STICKERS: A closer look at our tagline on stickers. My groom's native language is Amaharic, and was difficult to find this in a font. I was able to use Noto Sans, which blended well with Sacramento and Nunito Sans.
SIGNAGE: Here is our aisle sign, featuring more illustrated touches! We wanted something whimsical and inviting.
SIGNAGE & WAY-FINDING: A photo of our seating chart. We love plants, so we created mini laminated seating signs to accompany these succulent wedding favors with our guest's names and table numbers.
WAY-FINDING: These are table numbers that correlate with the succulent signs.
